Nathaniel Ehrlich began his career in sales and business development, where he learned that strong business is built on trust, communication, and follow-through. He also saw how quickly a company can suffer when two critical functions fail: accounting and human resources.

That insight shaped his professional philosophy. Numbers reveal the health of a business, but people determine its future. Drawn to the relationship side of business and the impact of good hiring decisions, Nathaniel found his place in recruiting.

The Coterie reflects that path. It is not a volume-driven recruiting desk. It is a relationship-based search and advisory firm for leaders who value discretion, fit, and the right introduction at the right time.

Nathaniel earned his bachelor’s degree from California State University, Los Angeles in Business Administration with an option in Human Resources Management. He later attended the USC Bovard College Master’s in Human Resources program, deepening his understanding of people strategy, organizational design, and leadership development.
